These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ChurVid's website, mobile app, and streaming services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, uploading content, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use ChurVid.
  • You must provide accurate account details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access.

2. What ChurVid Provides

ChurVid is a Christian media streaming platform that offers:

  • access to video and audio content,
  • personalized features such as favorites and watch progress,
  • subscription-based viewing access on supported devices,
  • creator tools for approved content contributors.

Features may change over time as we improve the Service.

3. Subscription, Trial, Billing, and Cancellation

  • We may offer a free trial (for example, a 7-day trial) for eligible users.
  • Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal.
  • Payments are processed through PayFast and related payment partners.
  • By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges for your selected plan until cancellation.
  • You can cancel from your account/billing area. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically create a prorated refund for time already billed, except where required by law.
  • Prices, plan benefits, and trial offers may change with notice.

4. Creator Content and License

  • Creators retain ownership of their original uploaded content.
  • By uploading content to ChurVid, you grant ChurVid a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, stream, display, and distribute that content through the Service.
  • You confirm you have all rights needed to upload and license your content.
  • We may remove, restrict, or moderate content that violates law, third-party rights, or these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, download, rebroadcast, or redistribute protected content without permission,
  • share account access in a way that bypasses plan limits,
  • attempt to bypass paywalls, security controls, or access restrictions,
  • upload malicious code or interfere with platform performance,
  • use the Service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or rights-infringing activity.

6. Intellectual Property

The ChurVid platform, brand elements, software, and non-user content are protected by intellectual property laws. Except where expressly permitted, these rights remain with ChurVid and its licensors.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We aim for reliable uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to features, plans, and technical requirements at any time.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, threaten platform security, or create legal risk. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel subscriptions according to Section 3.

9. Disclaimers and Liability Limits

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, ChurVid disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Service use.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be posted on the Service with an updated effective date.
